Great News! I passed my ACE exam!
That's right, I passed my ACE I Exam!!!
So what does this mean and why am I so excited?
At my school, we are required to take (and pass!) a series of Acupuncture Competency Exams (ACE I, II and III) to advance to the next level of clinical internship. Because I have passed ACE I, I can start practicing in the clinic under supervised practice!
That's right, I can provide Acupuncture treatments at my University's Health Center!
Starting in May, I will begin my Supervised Practice Internship. This means that I will be providing acupuncture treatment for patients under the supervision of a licensed Acupuncturist.
I couldn't be happier and I'm so excited and grateful for this opportunity. It is also rewarding to know that my hard work and countless hours of studying are going to pay off and I can now put all the theories I've read about, into practice.
Along with this, comes a huge amount of responsibility. The well being of patients will now rest in my hands; their response to treatment, their trust and their confidence…it's all something that I will be responsible for. What an honor!
I feel incredibly blessed to be on this journey and so eager to help others feel good!
There is so much more to come and I'm ready and looking forward to my future in the healing arts.
Stay tuned… :)
Love and light,
zely
